The Law of Attraction

Were you able to see the famous movie "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne? This is the main topic of this movie.

What this law practically states is that our thoughts and the way we think literally control our lives and we tend to attract energy from the surroundings and from the world that attracts us to the way we think. You are the creator and the universe is your playground.

In the very essence of it, this is my own beliefs and thoughts on this law.

1. As the saying goes, "Birds of the same feather flock together". I do believe that our thoughts and attitudes definitely attracts positive energy and it empowers us to become more successful and to attract the right people.

2. In contrast, some people tend to understand this law literally states that "you get what you think". If you are thinking of say winning the lottery, do you think it will manifest? If you are thinking of say owning a building or a vast majority of real estate, do you think it will manifest just by thinking of it? I Don't Think So.

I think that the Law of Attraction simply attracts you to take action towards your dream but by just merely thinking about it and not doing action on it does not lead you to where you want.

We cannot control the "when and the how" as to realizing our thoughts but by just thinking of it, the universe and all the energies in the world will bring it to us. It's just a matter of recognizing it.
I quote book "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho that says "When you want something, all the universe conspire in helping you to achieve it." The whole universe will join forces to help you achieve it by giving you possible opportunities.

3. Additionally, negative thinkers tend to attract negative things. Does this mean that they are victims of negative energies happening around them by simply becoming a negative thinker? I Don't Think So. We all think negative from time to time. Each of us experienced failures in one form or another. There's no such person who hasn't thought of negative things.

Do you think that a negative thinker person is a victim of what's happening on our economy nowadays? (i.e. soaring inflation brought by high oil prices and credit crunch in US that radiates to smaller economies like the Philippines) I Don't Think So. Everybody is a victim whether you are positive or negative thinker. Put simply, a positive thinker person can also have negative happenings in their lives.

However, I do believe that if you focus on negative things in your life, it will attract you to negative happenings in your life. It will lead you to become "barren" and not doing any action - just like a couched potato.

"Men often become what they believe themselves. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn't have it in the beginning."
