Stock Investing nowadays goes online. Ideally, beginners should start small to learn the basics of investing since this investment vehicle is very risky. For as low as Php 5,000, you can now open an account and start stock investing. Most of them only charge a minimum of 0.25% commission.
Below are the Online Stock Trading Portals.
Citiseconline is I think the most comprehensive and detailed online Philippine Stock Trading Tool. They are the only listed online stock trading company in the Philippine Stock Exchange. They provide technical data and analysis on every stock. However, I haven't used and tried to trade stocks with this tool so I cannot make a comment about this.
Attached is a PDF file of their Stock Investing.

2. BPI Trade
BPI Trade is the online stock investing tool of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI).
- I liked their "Research" which describes a detailed list of Corporate News, and most especially their Dividend Update which discloses scheduled dividends of companies.
- They have the "Global Markets" which provides news on the US, Europe and Asian Markets.
- They have "Economic Updates" which provides information on economic indicators such as interest rate on t-bills, exchange rates, GDP, inflation rate, unemployment rate, budget deficits, tourist arrivals, etc.
- Mutual Fund Trading and Fixed-Income Trading are also accessible thru this site. You can buy t-bills and mutual funds thru this site.
- Over all, it has all the basic services. Very user friendly and easy to use.
